Job summary

Crosby is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – Capital Projects, CNC & Automation in Little Rock, AR. The role leads CAPEX initiatives, optimizes CNC processes, and drives automation to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and capacity across manufacturing operations.

You will work with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance to build business cases and execute strategic projects that support long-term growth and competitive advantage.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in CNC/automation environments.
Experience managing capital projects from concept to implementation.
Experience with automation, tooling, fixtures, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

Identify and justify CAPEX projects improving safety, quality, productivity, and capacity.
Develop scopes, specs, layouts, and technical requirements for projects.
Prepare ROI, payback, NPV analyses for capital requests.
Lead projects from concept through commissioning, startup, and handover.
Manage vendor selection, procurement, installation, and budgets.
Drive CNC programming, tooling, fixtures, and process standardization.
