Job summary

Fortune 250 global manufacturing leader in the Erie, PA area is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer. This hands-on role focuses on solving manufacturing problems, improving processes, and owning equipment and automation projects.

You will lead process improvements, troubleshoot production and quality issues, and support new machines and line launches while collaborating with operators, quality, and engineering teams. Strong problem-solving and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing/process engineering or related experience.
• Experience with automation, machine design, or manufacturing process improvement.
• CAD experience; exposure to PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support manufacturing process and equipment improvements.
• Troubleshoot production, quality, and equipment issues.
• Support new machines, automation, and assembly cell launches.
• Work with CAD, machine design, and process documentation.
• Partner with production, quality, and engineering teams on root-cause problem solving.
• Train operators and support continuous improvement initiatives.
