Job summary

SRC Automotive is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to help design production tools, develop new processes, and support tooling and machinery for automotive powertrain applications. You will contribute to new product launches, establish production standards, and optimize facility layout on the shop floor.

The role emphasizes hands-on automation, Python scripting, PLC controls, and data-driven process improvements in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or related discipline.
• Five (5) years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Product Development.
• Five (5) years of Manufacturing experience.
• Experience with IATF 16949:2016 or quality systems.
• Experience with Python programming for manufacturing automation.
• Experience with industrial PLCs and machine vision systems.
• Strong knowledge of Marine and Automotive powertrain products.

Responsibilities

• Participate in manufacturability decisions for new product lines.
• Collaborate with Production, Sales, and Materials to set production standards.
• Review and improve facility layout and product flow.
• Coordinate with Quality, Production, Sales, and customers on new launches.
• Assist maintenance with machine/tool installation and setup new equipment.
