Job summary

SRC Automotive, Inc. in Springfield, MO seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to design production tools and improve processes.

You will support new programs, develop tooling, and create production controls to optimize flow on the factory floor. The role requires a BS/BA in Engineering and 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Product Development, with strong skills in Python, PLCs, and 3D printing.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or related discipline.
• Five (5) years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Product Development.
• Experience with IATF 16949:2016 Quality System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in decisions regarding manufacturability of production lines.
• Reviews and improves facility layout and product flow.
• Coordinates with Quality, Production, Sales and customers on new product launches.
• Develops and maintains Python-based scripts to automate engineering tasks.
• Supports programming and integration of PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment.
