MiTek Tolleson is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive safety, quality and efficiency. You will optimize processes, support automation and capital projects, and collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in engineering, Six Sigma, 5+ years in manufacturing, and hands-on CAD/ERP experience. The role offers growth, strong benefits, and the chance to implement advanced manufacturing technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
Six Sigma Certification required.
5+ years in manufacturing engineering or related roles.
GD&T experience required.
Experience with metal fabrication, robotics, PLCs, and CAD software preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles, root cause analysis, and data-driven decision making.
Support and optimize automation, controls, and robotic systems to improve equipment reliability and throughput.
Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing equipment and production processes.
Lead equipment installations, process validation, commissioning, and new product introductions.
Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, operating procedures, and training materials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce downtime and improve operational performance.
Manage capital improvement projects including planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, and implementation.
Monitor production and equipment performance metrics and implement sustainable corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, machine guarding requirements, risk assessments, and company policies.
Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies that align with business objectives.
