Job summary

Janicki Industries in Hamilton, Washington, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support machining, composite fabrication, finishing, and assembling tooling and production parts in an AS9100 certified facility.

The role focuses on developing and implementing production processes, improving efficiency, and coordinating with Project Managers to mitigate risk, while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident per ITAR/EAR.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, isometric drawings, work orders, written procedures, and other technical documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, follow process instructions, and monitor machine controllers.
• Consistent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintains an overview of production processes and works with Management and Production personnel to develop and implement improvements for optimal results.
• Assists with creating and managing new production processes/procedures to better aid in the completion of composite tooling and/or resolve issues in production.
• As Research and Design develops new technology, the Manufacturing Engineer reissues or reconstructs production processes to implement new technology.
• Plans and coordinates standard manufacturing processes on the Production Floor.
• Aides with recording test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data and recommendations for changes in product or test method.
• Works with Project Managers to identify and mitigate risk in the production process.
