Leidos is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our Huntsville, AL facility to define and optimize manufacturing processes, utilize Solumina MES, and drive continuous improvement across multiple projects. You will develop MBOMs, routings, and manage produc­tion flow while collaborating with engineering, QA, and operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering with 2–8 years of related experience, CAD proficiency, and a U.S. security clearance eligibility.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering or other technical discipline with 4–8 years of applicable experience, or a Master’s with 2–6 years in engineering.
• Collaborative environment experience with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with manufacturing, assembly & integration of mechanical/structural components.
• Proficient in CAD software: Creo, AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
• Self-starter able to work with limited direction and guide others.
• Implement GD&T (ASME Y14.5-2009) tolerances on parts and assemblies.
• Experience leading issue resolution in manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Define manufacturing processes including equipment, space, tooling, and capex.
• Implement procedures to convert materials into finished products efficiently.
• Use Solumina MES to manage manufacturing processes, quality, and traceability.
• Generate MBOMs and routings in Solumina for accurate run times.
• Identify and execute continuous improvement projects and reduce risks.
• Plan production flow and manage changes in the MRP system.
• Handle configuration and data management for changes.
• Coordinate production workflow across projects and resolve technical problems.
• Monitor job status and report to management with reports.
