Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Specialist to support our Electronics Manufacturing Facility in Huntsville, AL. You will help design, configure, and optimize MES workflows, BOMs, and data capture to enable efficient production.

Ideal candidates have a BS degree with 2–4 years of MES experience or a related field, knowledge of ERP/PLM interfaces, and the ability to obtain a clearance.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 2–4 years of relevant experience or a Master’s with 0–2 years; candidates with an Associate degree and 6+ years experience considered.
• 1+ year of experience with a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or similar system.
• Knowledge of MES-ERP interactions, data management, and manufacturing documentation.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a final secret security clearance.
• Residence in North Alabama or willingness to relocate to Huntsville/North Alabama area.

Responsibilities

• Provide MES support and configuration for workflows, routings, work instructions, BOMs, and production data collection.
• Participate in MES implementation, testing, validation, go-live, and post-implementation support.
• Configure manufacturing process flows for standard and non-standard operations; maintain process documentation.
• Assist integration between MES and ERP/PLM/engineering data management systems.
• Maintain MES configurations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and traceability.
