Job summary

Wastequip in Tyler, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement cost-effective manufacturing processes using methods, jigs, fixtures, racking, conveyors, and more, aligned with product specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

You will design and test new equipment and processes, coordinate production launches for new or revised projects, and work with management, operations, suppliers to optimize layouts and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor preferred).
• Experience in welding environment preferred.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements new equipment and processes for production flow.
• Creates layouts, BOMs, budgets and work instructions for new equipment and processes.
• Coordinate manufacturing launches for new/revised projects.
• Assist in assembly of new designs and equipment.
• Support safety and quality standards and continuous improvement.
