Manufacturing Engineer 2
Location: Gibsonton, FL
Employment: Contract (6 months with potential to convert)

Compensation: $40.71 / Hour
Schedule: 40 hours / week (8 am to 5 pm)
Responsibilities
- Develop processes that meet customer specifications using process knowledge and engineering principles.
- Maintain statistical process control and monitor yield and throughput.
- Work with the training team to create effective training content.
- Define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
- Interpret technical instructions in various forms.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing.
- 2+ years of experience in injection molding, wax.
- 5+ years of experience in writing work instructions and training.
Additional Qualifications
- Technical or leadership experience.
- Ceramic experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
- Proficient in writing reports and manuals.
- Capable of presenting information and responding to inquiries from various audiences.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts, including probability and statistical inference.
- Apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

- Regularly stand, use hands, reach, and communicate.
- Occasionally walk, sit, climb, or crawl.
- Lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 40 pounds occasionally.
- Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequently work near moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to wet conditions, fumes, and vibration.
- Noise levels vary from quiet in offices to very loud in manufacturing, averaging less than 85 dBA over an eight-hour period.
