Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Technician in Phoenix, AZ to learn and apply manufacturing processes, perform maintenance, and troubleshoot to ensure quality production. You will assist with installation and qualification testing of automated material handling systems, and monitor AMHS equipment in a cleanroom environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic Excel/computer skills, and the ability to follow detailed instructions.

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Location: Phoenix, AZ (85083)

Employment Type: Temp to Perm

Industry: Manufacturing

Compensation: $21.00-$23.10/hr (plus applicable shift differential)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM for the first 4 weeks, then transition to a 12‑hour compressed production schedule (day and night shifts available)

Job Requirements

What You’ll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent)
• Fundamental Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
• Exhibit typing skills of at least 35 wpm

What Sets You Apart

• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a related industry
• Experience working with automated material handling systems
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, mechanical, or maintenance environment
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete required documentation accurately
• Availability to work compressed schedules, including day or night shifts
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment with required PPE (coveralls, hood, boots, gloves, and eye protection)
• Ability to remain on your feet and perform job duties for extended periods

Additional Info

Minimum Physical Demands

• Ability to lift and move items up to 40 lbs., including overhead reaching
• Ability to perform overhead work for extended periods
• Ability to work in confined spaces when required
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and walk for extended periods during shifts
• Employment is contingent upon successful background check and drug screening
• Overtime may be required based on production need
• Must be able to meet physical lifting requirements
