Job summary

A reputable aerospace company in Florida is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design manufacturing processes, support production, and ensure compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCad and blueprint interpretation, along with a Bachelor's degree and relevant experience. The role requires the ability to lift equipment and support the evening shift from Monday to Thursday. Benefits include 401K, medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience with AutoCad.
  • 1-2 years of experience reading and interpreting Blueprints.
  • 1-2 years of experience in General Assembly roles.
  • Must be able to read/write English fluently.
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs safely.
  • Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Design manufacturing processes and procedures for assemblies.
  • Support the production floor with operations team.
  • Verify efficiency of equipment and tools.
  • Investigate and initiate corrective action for product quality.

Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Oldsmar, FL

Job ID: #71656

Pay Range: $32-53 AN HOUR

Contract: 12 MONTH CONTRACT

Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling. Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout. Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance. Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions. May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan. Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality. Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques. Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
