Badger Talent Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a full-time, on-site role based in Racine, WI. This position supports both the Production and Tool & Die Departments, with responsibility for designing tools, improving processes, and supporting high-precision manufacturing operations.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys tool and die design, thrives in a hands-on environment, and is looking to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and prepare detailed drawings and specifications for tools, dies, fixtures, gauges, and machine attachments
• Reverse engineer original product designs from sketches or concepts
• Develop complex tool and die drawings and prepare material lists
• Recommend vendors and materials for tooling and custom machines
• Troubleshoot and improve manufacturing processes and quality requirements
• Maintain documentation, including customer files, part prints, tool drawings, routings, and inspection reports
• Assist with interpreting customer drawings and estimating material/process costs to improve profitability

Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, or 3–5 years of relevant experience
• 3+ years of experience in tool and die design, preferably including stamping, forming, and CAM
• Excellent organization and documentation skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with internal teams, vendors, and customers
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
