Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing efficient manufacturing layouts and workflows using principles of industrial engineering. You will play a critical role in planning parts flow, relocating machinery, and developing technical drawings in AutoCAD to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Layout Planning: Design and develop optimized factory layouts to support production goals, space utilization, and safety standards.

Parts Flow Optimization: Analyze and improve the flow of materials and parts throughout the manufacturing process to reduce waste and increase efficiency.

Machine Relocation: Plan and execute the movement and placement of machinery and equipment based on layout changes or production requirements.

AutoCAD Drafting: Create and revise detailed technical drawings and layout plans using AutoCAD.

Process Improvement: Apply industrial engineering principles to streamline manufacturing operations and reduce cycle times.

Collaboration: Work closely with production, maintenance, and safety teams to ensure smooth implementation of layout and process changes.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of layouts, workflows, and modifications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering role.

Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D layout and equipment drawing.

Strong understanding of layout planning, material handling, and equipment placement.

Experience with parts flow analysis and lean manufacturing principles.

Ability to plan and oversee machine movement and reconfiguration projects.
