Job summary

Weil Group, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to improve waste elimination, workflow, and product quality. You will evaluate processes, troubleshoot production bottlenecks, and support the launch of new products.

Responsibilities include designing processes and layouts, adapting designs to conditions, integrating inspection steps, and ensuring regulatory compliance to maintain high standards across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts.
• Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities for efficient layout.
• Specifies procedures for fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions affecting product performance.
• Adapts designs to factory and production conditions.
• May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
• Inspects machinery performance and initiates corrective actions to ensure quality.
• Develops manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control.
• Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specifications for optimal equipment use.
• Ensures processes comply with regulations.

• Inspects machinery performance and initiates corrective action to ensure product quality.
• Develops processes applicable to statistical process control where appropriate.
• Guides engineering on design concepts to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
• Ensures processes and procedures comply with regulations.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to help us eliminate waste, enhance workflow, and ensure our products meet the highest quality standards. You will evaluate processes, troubleshoot production bottlenecks, and play a pivotal role in the launch of exciting new products.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.
• Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.
• Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
• Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
• May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
• Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
• Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques.
• Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
• Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
