We are a high-mix, low-volume machine shop seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to support a wide variety of complex and custom projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, mechanical tinkering, working closely with customers, and taking ownership from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate customer solutions by reverse engineering worn or broken parts, and engineering novel mechanical parts
• Interface with customers to understand needs
• Create accurate GD&T drawings for machinists to make parts from
• Prepare job cost estimates for management review, including material, labor, and process considerations
• Assist in purchasing materials and coordinating outside services required to make parts
• Learn and document internal manufacturing methods, and assist in developing training programs
• Advise on efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes
• Troubleshoot machinery, production issues, and manufacturing challenges

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with GD&T technical drawings
• Basic understanding of machining processes and manufacturing methods
