  • Lead the research, design, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, including production flow, assembly methods, and equipment utilization.
  • Create, standardize, and maintain work instructions and assembly documentation, including digital and electrical documentation systems.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to implement and sustain 5S and workplace organization standards across assigned areas.
  • Promote and enhance ergonomic best practices to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Coordinate new product introductions (NPI) and product changes, including tooling, training, goal setting, and performance evaluation.
  • Support product development by contributing to cost estimates, process validation, scheduling, and prototype builds.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field (preferred).
  • 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, ideally within heavy equipment, construction, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Hands‑on experience with heavy equipment design and troubleshooting, including fixture design and development.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks (required).
  • Strong hands‑on mechanical aptitude with the ability to translate designs into functional solutions.
  • Working knowledge of materials and metals, including behavior under heat/cold and welding processes.
