Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a leading global manufacturer in Jonesboro, AR. You will develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing systems to boost productivity and cut costs, collaborating with product development to design new or modify existing products.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 1–3 years of experience, with proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Lean manufacturing knowledge is a plus and you will train staff on new processes and equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Extensive knowledge of product development and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing systems and processes, focusing on productivity and cost reduction.
• Collaborating with the product development team to design new products and modify existing ones.
• Creating and analyzing layouts of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization to maximize efficiency.
• Utilizing SolidWorks and AutoCAD to design, model, and test product designs and manufacturing processes.
• Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for product and process-related concerns.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of quality control procedures to ensure consistent production of high-quality products.
• Coordinating with Quality, Production, and R&D to implement new strategies and processes.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Providing training and guidance to manufacturing staff on new processes and equipment.
