Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to solve real production problems on the floor and drive improvements in throughput, quality, and reliability. You will troubleshoot equipment, optimize machine settings, and partner with operators, maintenance, and leadership to sustain improvements.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with industrial automation, PLCs, robotics, and a passion for solving complex manufacturing challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Automation Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with hands-on experience
• Experience with machine controls, industrial automation, PLCs, robotics, or equipment programming
• Demonstrated ability to identify root causes and implement effective, lasting solutions to manufacturing problems

Responsibilities

• Solve real production problems on the production floor.
• Troubleshoot equipment, process failures, recurring defects, and production bottlenecks to improve throughput, quality, and reliability.
• Own equipment and process performance; optimize machine settings, cycle times, and production processes to maximize efficiency.
• Drive automation and innovation; identify opportunities to automate manual processes and implement engineering solutions.
• Be present on the production floor; work with operators, technicians, maintenance, and leadership to identify problems and sustain improvements.
• Improve manufacturing processes using engineering principles, data analysis, root cause investigation, and continuous improvement methods.
• Support equipment integration (selection, installation, qualification, programming, and ramp-up).
