Socomec Group in Suwanee/Atlanta seeks an experienced electrical engineer to support local manufacturing (PDU, Static Transfer Switch, UPS). You will resolve production issues, clarify drawings, and maintain BOM data to improve manufacturability.

Role includes coordinating with Brampton and Canada teams, supplying design support when needed, and driving cost-saving improvements while upholding safety and regulatory compliance.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• P.E./P.Eng. designation or progress toward licensure is an asset.
• Minimum 5 years in electrical engineering in manufacturing.
• Experience with power distribution equipment, panels, controls, testing, and docs.
• Experience with BOM management, second sourcing, ERP data, and change-control.
• Experience supporting ETO/CTO products with remote/multi-site teams.

Mansioni

• Provide day-to-day electrical engineering support to Suwanee/Atlanta manufacturing, incl. investigation and resolution of production issues.
• Review and restructure BOMs to improve clarity and manufacturability.
• Identify and evaluate second-source components and suppliers; prepare qualification data and risk assessments.
• Support ERP-related engineering activities, item setup, BOM accuracy, and change coordination.
• Clarify released drawings and schematics for production teams without altering controlled documents.
• Analyze recurring manufacturing issues and propose product, documentation, tooling, or process improvements.
• Develop validation plans, production test procedures, and corrective actions.
• When capacity allows, support design-related tasks for Brampton engineering and route through change control.
• Prepare changes to drawings, BOMs, schematics, and compliance documentation through approvals.
