Socomec North America seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to support Suwanee/Atlanta manufacturing for PDU, Static Transfer Switch, and UPS products. You will ensure accurate engineering information, resolve production issues, and drive improvements in BOMs and change control.

Collaborating with Brampton and other teams, you will optimize material selection, source components, and support ERP activities while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required or asset.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with BOM management, component qualification/second sourcing, ERP engineering data, and formal EC processes.
• Experience supporting ETO/CTO products and multi-site collaboration preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day electrical engineering support to Suwanee/Atlanta manufacturing, handling production, assembly, wiring, test, and documentation issues.
• Review and restructure BOMs to improve clarity, manufacturability, and configuration control.
• Identify and evaluate second-source components and suppliers; prepare qualification info and risk assessments for approval.
• Support ERP-related engineering activities: item setup, BOM accuracy, routing clarification, data cleanup, and changes coordination.
• Clarify released drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions without changing controlled documents.
• Analyze recurring manufacturing issues and propose product, documentation, tooling, or process improvements.
• Develop or support validation plans, production test procedures, prototype builds, troubleshooting, and corrective actions.
• When workload permits, execute design-related assignments from Brampton engineering team including documentation and electrical design support.
• Prepare proposed changes to drawings, BOMs, schematics, compliance docs, and product configurations; route through engineering reviews and change-control.
• Collaborate with Brampton engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, product management, service, suppliers, and NRTL/compliance stakeholders to meet safety, quality, delivery, and regulatory requirements.
