Job summary

HNI Corporation is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator for its Furniture Operations team in Muscatine, Iowa. This role supports critical safety programs and drives a 'safety first' culture in a high-energy manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate, preferably a recent graduate or with some experience, will implement safety initiatives and EHS programs as well as ensure compliance with all regulations. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience in safety within a manufacturing environment.
• Background in engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement HNI Corporation's Member Safety Program.
• Conduct Safe Workplace Design and Process improvement.
• Drive high engagement for Safety and Sustainability goals.
• Develop and implement EHS programs and training.
• Optimize EHS programs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with laws and internal policies.
