Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• 5-10 years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• 3-5 years of experience managing a team.
• Proven success in influencing matrixed teams and driving cultural transformation.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, ISO 14001/45001/9001, and behavior-based safety systems.
• Proficient in EHS digital platforms, data analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, tailored to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001/45001/9001 standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses (JHA, HAZOP), and ergonomic evaluations.
• Ensure compliance across multiple reporting lines and operational units within a matrixed structure.
• Manage environmental reporting, waste characterization, and regulatory submissions.
• Lead and participate in EHS audits and risk assessments.
• Partner with JCI Legal on regulatory and compliance topics.
• Maintain data management with EHS information system.
• Champion a safety culture and drive KPI performance.
