Job summary

Spectrum Brands, Inc.—Home & Garden Division in Missouri—seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to lead EHS, safety, security, and workers’ compensation activities for the Vinita Park Facility. You will drive compliance with OSHA/EPA regulations, develop policies, and deliver training to managers and staff to maintain a safe workplace.

The role requires 5+ years in EHS within a manufacturing setting, strong analytical and leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate with site

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an EHS role with knowledge of applicable environmental health and safety regulations.
• Manufacturing facility experience required.
• Experience with Process Safety Management/Risk Management Planning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the facility’s environmental, health, safety, and sustainability initiatives in alignment with local, group, and corporate objectives.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all applicable federal, state, and local EHS regulations; support regulatory interactions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Design, coordinate, and deliver training programs for managers and employees on key safety topics.
• Serve as a key leader on the plant Safety Committee and coordinate safety campaigns and communications.
• Oversee site emergency action planning and coordination with local Police and Fire Departments.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA PSM and EPA RMP standards, including PHAs and risk plans.
• Conduct EHS audits and drive corrective actions with employees and leadership.
• Prepare and maintain all required environmental reports for agencies.
• Analyze safety and accident statistics and support workers’ compensation processes.
