Job summary

Spectrum Brands seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager for the Vinita Park facility. This role leads EHS, safety, security, and workers’ compensation programs to ensure a safe, compliant workplace.

Responsibilities include OSHA/EPA compliance, training design, and EHS program development, with relocation assistance available for qualified candidates located in the St. Louis, MO area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant safety/engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with OSHA, EPA regulatory programs.
• Process Safety Management/Risk Management Planning experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS initiatives aligned with local, group, and corporate objectives.
• Manage safety performance and reporting through electronic EHS systems.
• Ensure OSHA/EPA compliance across the facility and regulatory interactions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures.
• Design, coordinate and deliver training on key safety topics.
• Lead the plant Safety Committee and coordinate emergency planning.
• Oversee workers' compensation program and return-to-work initiatives.
• Conduct EHS audits and drive corrective actions with leadership.
