Job summary

Aztalan Bio LLC in Johnson Creek, WI seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead plant-wide EHS programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and driving continuous improvement.

The role oversees the Safety & Security Coordinator, reports to the CEO, and requires a day shift, exempt status. Responsibilities include establishing EHS goals, policies, audits, training, and incident management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environment, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of EHS experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Ongoing EHS training (minimum 40 hours per year) required.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and other standard office tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Establish and communicate EHS goals; develop strategies to ensure a safe workplace.
• Develop safety standards, policies, and guidelines aligned with regulations and best practices.
• Monitor changing EHS requirements and update practices and documentation accordingly.
• Design and implement training programs on safety standards and procedures.
