Goodyear is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator to serve as the EHS subject matter expert for a dedicated manufacturing unit in the United States. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, program leadership, and cross-functional collaboration with plant leadership and teams to strengthen EHS performance and culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, Technical Science, or related field; equivalent country-specific qualifications considered.
• Experience implementing and managing EHS programs in a large manufacturing setting (500+ associates preferred).
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations; experience tracking and reporting EHS data.
• CIH designation or other advanced credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary EHS subject matter expert for a Manufacturing Unit and guide regulatory and company requirements.
• Lead implementation and execution of EHS initiatives supporting plant and global objectives.
• Maintain compliance with country, federal, state, local regulations and policies.
• Drive continuous improvement through governance, engagement, and management system enhancements.
• Track, analyze, and report EHS metrics and KPIs; set plant-level goals aligned with organizational objectives.
