Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an EHS Coordinator in Texarkana, AR to serve as the environmental, health, and safety subject matter expert for the Manufacturing Unit. You will ensure regulatory compliance and support a safe, sustainable workplace while partnering with plant leadership and cross-functional teams.

You will lead EHS initiatives, strengthen the safety culture, and drive continuous improvement aligned with business and EHS objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in environmental, safety, or related field.
Master's degree and/or certification in IH or related field is desirable.
Experience in a large manufacturing facility (500+ associates) is preferred.
Experience developing EHS programs and tracking EHS data.
Strong knowledge of Federal, State and Local safety and environmental laws/regulations.
Ethical standards; commitment to associate well-being and sustainability.

Responsibilities

Serve as the EHS SME for the Manufacturing Unit, advising on environmental, health, and safety requirements and best practices.
Lead the implementation of EHS initiatives supporting plant, regional, and global goals.
Ensure compliance with all EHS regulations, standards, and policies.
Support the EHS Management System Steering Committee and related subcommittees and improvements.
Develop strategies to increase EHS engagement among salaried and hourly associates.
Track, analyze, and report EHS metrics and KPIs, supporting annual operating plan goals.
