Job summary
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to serve as the primary EHS expert for a dedicated Manufacturing Unit, ensuring environmental, health, safety, and sustainability compliance while driving continuous improvement. You'll partner with plant leadership to strengthen EHS performance and culture.
The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, leadership, and a passion for protecting people and the environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience implementing EHS programs in large manufacturing with 500+ associates.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary EHS expert for a dedicated Manufacturing Unit.
- Lead the implementation and execution of EHS initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with country, federal, state, local, and company EHS regulations.
- Drive EHS improvement strategies and governance processes.
- Track, analyze, and report EHS metrics and KPIs.
