Job summary

FPC of Savannah is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead environmental compliance and workplace safety programs at our manufacturing facility. This role focuses on hazardous waste management, air permitting, and regulatory reporting to ensure adherence to EPA, state, and local requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing Hazardous Waste (RCRA Large Quantity Generator) programs.
• Experience managing Title V Air Permits.
• Working knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Experience conducting environmental and safety audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance programs in accordance with EPA, state, and local regulations.
• Manage all aspects of the facility's RCRA Large Quantity Generator hazardous waste program.
• Oversee air compliance activities, including Title V permit management.
• Prepare and submit environmental reports and permit documentation on time.
• Coordinate environmental inspections and audits and serve as primary regulator liaison.
• Ensure compliance with environmental permits, monitoring, and record retention.
• Manage hazardous waste vendors and environmental service providers.
• Support industrial wastewater pretreatment compliance as applicable.
