Job summary

Times Microwave Systems in Wallingford, CT seeks a Manufacturing Document Engineer to capture tribal knowledge and translate it into robust, compliant documentation for RF coaxial cable assemblies. This role collaborates with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations to improve processes and document control.

You will support Oracle maintenance and the MI Technical Writing team, ensuring accuracy and traceability across all docs.

Qualifications

• Engineering or technically focused Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with RF cable or cable assemblies preferred.
• Lean principles and tools in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with change management, nonconformance reports, CAPA, takt time/rate, and work instructions.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• SolidWorks preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Capture and document tribal knowledge to reduce reliance on undocumented processes and individual expertise.
• Assist in identifying and implementing process and system improvements within the MI team.
• Create, review, release, and maintain technical and manufacturing documentation.
• Support document control processes to ensure material and process compliance.
• Identify and resolve documentation and manufacturing issues with cross-functional teams.
• Support first-time builds to identify documentation gaps and manufacturing challenges.
