Job summary

Times Microwave Systems seeks a Manufacturing Document Engineer to join our MI team. You will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to capture tribal knowledge, identify root causes of documentation issues, and transfer expertise to Technical Writing.

The role supports Oracle maintenance, documentation control, and continuous process improvements in RF coaxial cable assemblies. Excellent communication, strong analytical skills, and ability to work cross-functionally across

Qualifications

• Engineering or similarly technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in the manufacture of raw RF cable or cable assemblies preferred.
• Experience applying Lean principles and tools in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with manufacturing control processes and procedures, including change management, nonconformance reports, engineering specifications, takt time/rate, CAPA, and work instructions.
• Experience with Six Sigma and/or other structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bring hands-on manufacturing experience and a practical understanding of manufacturing processes to the development and improvement of technical documentation.
• Perform and manage assembly document redlines.
• Identify recurring issues and systemic root causes associated with document redlines and drive actions to reduce and eliminate them.
• Capture and document tribal knowledge to reduce reliance on undocumented processes and individual expertise.
• Assist in identifying and implementing process and system improvements within the MI team.
