Job summary

Kutol Products Company in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Director of Manufacturing who will guide strategy and execution with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. You will develop leaders, build standardized systems, and drive continuous improvement across high‑mix production while partnering with Supply Chain, QA, EHS, and Engineering.

This role requires a track record in cGMP environments, Lean manufacturing, and data-driven decision making, with a family-owned culture and profit-sharing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, business, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing experience in a high-mix, complex-SKU environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, production scheduling, material flow, inventory control, Lean principles, and continuous improvement.
• Significant skills in team building and the effective leadership of managers and supervisors.
• Proficient in ERP, Quality Management Systems, Microsoft Office, and other business platforms.
• Experience in a cGMP-regulated environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute manufacturing strategies supporting safety, quality, cost, capacity, and order-fulfillment objectives.
• Establish effective operating systems, standardized work, performance metrics, escalation processes, and continuous improvement practices.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing principles and foster a unified "One-Operation" culture.
• Develop manufacturing managers and supervisors through coaching, capability building, succession planning, and performance management.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, EHS, and other teams to meet customer demand and support business growth.
• Use SAP, Redzone, MasterControl, and other systems to support data-driven decisions.
• Maintain operational readiness for regulatory and customer requirements, including FDA, EPA, OSHA, and Health Canada.
• Build a safety-first culture across all shifts and lead efforts to proactively identify and reduce operational risk.
