Job summary

• Develop and execute manufacturing strategies supporting safety, quality, cost, capacity, and order-fulfillment objectives.
• Establish operating systems, standardized work, performance metrics, and escalation processes.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing and foster a One-Operation culture.
• Develop manufacturing managers and supervisors through coaching and succession planning.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, EHS, and others to meet customer demand and growth.
• Use SAP, Redzone, MasterControl, and other systems for data-driven decisions.
• Maintain readiness for FDA, EPA, OSHA, and Health Canada.

As a leading manufacturer of hand soaps, sanitizers, and skin care products, we are seeking a Director of Manufacturing who is passionate about operational excellence, people development, and continuous improvement. Based in our LEED® Silver Certified, FDA-registered facility, this leadership role will guide manufacturing strategy and execution while building a culture focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and teamwork.

In this Role You Will

• Develop and execute manufacturing strategies supporting safety, quality, cost, capacity, and order-fulfillment objectives.
• Establish effective operating systems, standardized work, performance metrics, escalation processes, and continuous improvement practices.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing principles and foster a unified "One-Operation" culture.
• Develop manufacturing managers and supervisors through coaching, capability building, succession planning, and performance management.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, EHS, and other teams to meet customer demand and support business growth.
• Use SAP, Redzone, MasterControl, and other systems to support data-driven decisions.
• Maintain operational readiness for regulatory and customer requirements, including FDA, EPA, OSHA, and Health Canada.
• Build a safety-first culture across all shifts and lead efforts to proactively identify and reduce operational risk.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, business, or a related field;
• 10 or more years of progressive manufacturing experience in a high-mix, complex-SKU environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, production scheduling, material flow, inventory control, Lean principles, and continuous improvement.
• Significant skills in team building and the effective leadership of managers and supervisors.
• Proven analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with ERP, Quality Management Systems, Microsoft Office, and other business platforms.
• Experience in a cGMP-regulated environment is strongly preferred.
