Job summary

ETAS Inc. seeks a Customer Solutions Engineer focused on Manufacturing Diagnostics to identify growth opportunities, partner with customers and sales teams, and align needs with diagnostic solutions. You will support pre-sales activities, develop solutions, and help drive product roadmap evolution.

You will engage with OEMs, clarify requirements, and deliver on-site deployment, configuration, and testing of hardware/software. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive diagnostics protocols and systems.
• Experience with IT systems, networks and data formats (XML/ODX/OTX).
• Experience with SQL Server databases and data analysis tools.
• Ability to capture and analyze network data (Wireshark) and CAN/DoIP logs.
• Strong debugging and issue-resolution capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities, drive new business, and align market needs with product capabilities.
• Collaborate with sales in pre-sales activities and deliver technical demos.
• Clarify customer requirements, prepare user documentation, and define acceptance criteria.
• Lead on-site deployment, configuration, and testing of hardware/software solutions.
• Own on-site verification, troubleshooting, and QA activities; contribute to product roadmaps.
