Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Manufacturing Business Analyst to build and own the data foundation, including BOMs, standard costing, and raw material specs. Qualifications

• 3+ years of ERP data management experience in manufacturing or similar environment.
• 3+ years of root cause analysis experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years of maintaining master data, BOMs, and standard costing.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage core data foundation including BOMs, standard costing, and raw material specs.
• Decide what data to retain across operations, supply chain, and vendors, ensuring accurate capture.
• Enter data into ERP systems with high accuracy and maintain data standards.
• Set and enforce data standards to keep master data consistent across the organization.
• Conduct root cause analyses to identify data issues affecting purchasing, valuation, and cost control.
• Maintain and improve master data within ERP for accurate reporting and decision-making.
• Analyze costing, BOMs, and related data to support cost control and performance.
• Create/consume reports using Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python, or Tableau for insights.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance data analysis and automation.
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and finance to ensure data integrity.
• Support data for external diligence and buyer reviews.
