Aston Carter is seeking a Master Data Specialist to support governance for customer master and BOM data ahead of an ERP implementation. The role involves remote work, collaboration with quality stakeholders, and transforming data from multiple plants into consistent, system-ready formats.

You will ensure data completeness, drive standardization of part numbers, and maintain documentation to support governance and auditability across a distributed manufacturing environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience with manufacturing data and ERP data initiatives is a plus
• Familiarity with SAP Business Partner functionality is beneficial

• Support master data governance initiatives related to customer master and BOM data in preparation for an ERP implementation.
• Collaborate with Quality Manager and stakeholders to obtain accurate BOM and customer master details.
• Review data from multiple sources, including Excel, to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Assess whether incoming BOM and customer master information is complete, consistent, and usable; follow up on gaps.
• Transform and organize data from various locations into standardized formats readable by systems.
• Identify inconsistencies in large data sets and drive standardization of part numbers.
• Use Excel tools, including pivot tables and lookups, to validate and reconcile data.
• Maintain clear documentation of data changes for governance and auditability.
• Adapt to evolving processes and contribute to continuous improvement of data governance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across plant locations to support centralized master data and ERP deployment.
