Ellaway Blues Consulting seeks a Data Analyst to join a growing manufacturing client, working with engineering and operations to turn data into actionable insights and measurable plant-floor improvements.

You will analyze production data, develop dashboards, track KPIs such as yield, downtime, throughput, and scrap, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions. A bachelor's degree and 5+ years in manufacturing analytics are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years of data analysis in manufacturing
• Proficiency with Excel, SQL, Python or R, and dashboard tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate data into actionable recommendations

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing and production data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics
• Monitor KPIs including production yield, downtime, throughput, scrap, and overall efficiency
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to implement data-driven solutions
• Automate reporting and improve data collection accuracy
• Apply statistical analysis and data visualization to evaluate process performance and support continuous improvement
• Translate complex data into clear recommendations for technical teams and leadership
