Job summary

Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc (CVG) in Piedmont, Alabama is seeking a Customer Service Representative to manage orders, coordinate with internal teams, and serve as the primary contact for external customers on all order-related matters.

You will enter orders, monitor shipments, resolve issues, and collaborate with Production, Shipping, Sales, and Materials to ensure on-time delivery. A high school diploma and 2–4 years of customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2–4 years of customer service experience, preferably in manufacturing, automotive, or trucking.
• Experience with automotive or commercial vehicle OEM accounts and EDI/order management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for external customers; take, confirm, enter, and manage incoming orders.
• Key orders into the ERP system; verify pricing, product details, and order requirements.
• Monitor open orders and ensure on-time shipments; provide customers with status updates.
