Job summary

Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc (CVG) in California seeks a Customer Service Representative to direct and coordinate order-related activities at their Piedmont facility. You will take, confirm, enter, and manage incoming orders, review EDI and manual orders, monitor shipments, and resolve issues to support timely, accurate customer service.

You will work with Production, Shipping, Sales, and Materials to keep commitments, provide updates on order status, and ensure a high level of customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2–4 years of customer service experience, preferably in manufacturing, automotive, or trucking environments.
• Experience with automotive or commercial vehicle OEM processes and ERP-based order management is a plus.
• Second language proficiency is a plus for international bases.

Responsibilities

• Take, confirm, enter, and manage incoming orders accurately and promptly.
• Key orders into the ERP system with required documentation; monitor open orders for pricing, product details, and requirements.
• Monitor shipments; provide customers with updates on order status, availability, pricing, and shipping timelines.
• Resolve customer issues and escalate where appropriate; work with Production, Shipping, Sales, and Materials to meet commitments.
