Jobot is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager in Tampa for a manufacturing team. You will oversee cost accounting, ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance, and collaborate with production on cost analysis.

The role requires 5+ years in cost accounting, with strong forecasting and budgeting skills. SAP experience is essential, and experience in the food/beverage sector is highly desirable. Excellent leadership and accuracy are critical.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA/MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in cost accounting, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience in food and beverage industry desirable.
• Proficient in GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with weekly/monthly financial reporting and forecasting.
• Strong budget management skills.
• Experience with aged inventory, rebate accruals, and scrap calculations.
• Proficient with SAP or similar accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
• High integrity and results orientation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cost accounting function, ensuring GAAP and IFRS compliance.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports with cost insights and variances.
• Develop and maintain forecasting models for costs and revenues.
• Manage annual budgeting with department heads to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor and report on aged inventory, rebates, and scrap factors.
• Collaborate with production to analyze manufacturing costs.
• Use SAP to track cost data and generate reports.
• Implement cost accounting best practices and process improvements.
• Provide financial guidance to senior management to improve profitability.
