Job summary

Atrium is seeking a Senior Cost Accounting Manager for its manufacturing finance team. This hybrid role leads cost and inventory accounting across multiple facilities, driving standard costing and variance analysis.

You will oversee month-end close, cost allocations, and ensure robust internal controls while partnering with Operations and Finance to improve cost visibility and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong experience in manufacturing cost accounting and/or inventory accounting including standard costing and variance analysis.
• Prior people management experience.
• Experience with month-end close and inventory reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, JD Edwards, or Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost accounting and inventory accounting activities across multiple manufacturing operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies.
• Oversee standard costing, inventory valuation, cost allocations, and manufacturing variance analysis.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities related to inventory, cost of goods sold, and manufacturing accounting.
• Review material, labor, overhead, purchase price, and production variances to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Cost Accountants, including workload management and performance development.
