Atrium Staffing LLC is partnering with a large manufacturing client to hire a Senior Cost Accounting Manager in Alpharetta, GA. This role will oversee cost and inventory accounting, standard costing, month-end close, and internal controls across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership experience, expertise in ERP systems (SAP S4 Hana, JD Edwards, or Oracle), and expects a hands-on role driving process improvements and cost control. A CPA/CMA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• CPA or CMA preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead cost accounting, inventory accounting, standard costing, and inventory valuation activities across manufacturing operations.
• Oversee month-end close, inventory reconciliations, variance analysis, BOM maintenance, standard cost updates, and related reporting.
• Establish consistent cost accounting processes, controls, policies, and best practices across multiple locations.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Cost Accountants.
• Drive process improvements, ERP enhancements, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

A multi-billion dollar, global manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Cost Accounting Manager to join its finance organization.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$130k - $160k

Position Overview:

Atrium is partnered with a large manufacturing company on a Senior Cost Accounting Manager role which will oversee inventory valuation, standard costing, manufacturing variances, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Responsibilities of the Senior Cost Accounting Manager:

• Lead cost accounting, inventory accounting, standard costing, and inventory valuation activities across manufacturing operations.
• Oversee month-end close, inventory reconciliations, variance analysis, BOM maintenance, standard cost updates, and related reporting.
• Establish consistent cost accounting processes, controls, policies, and best practices across multiple locations.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Cost Accountants.
• Drive process improvements, ERP enhancements, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Cost Accounting Manager:

• Experience in cost and/or inventory accounting with people management experience.
• Experience in SAP S4 Hana, JD Edwards, or Oracle required.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Cost Accounting Manager:

• CPA or CMA preferred.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
