Atrium is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager in Suffolk County, NY, to oversee cost accounting and inventory management within a manufacturing setting. This role drives accuracy in product costing, supports financial reporting, and partners with operations for cost controls.

The position requires a hands-on, analytical approach and a strong background in cost accounting. Legal work authorization in the United States is required.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing industry experience required.
• Strong background in cost accounting and inventory management.
• Experience working within ERP systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

Responsabilités

• Manage standard costing, cost analysis, and variance reporting to ensure accurate financial results
• Oversee inventory accounting, cycle counts, and reconciliations to maintain data integrity
• Partner with operations to improve cost controls and drive process efficiencies
• Support month-end close and financial reporting processes for manufacturing operations
• Analyze manufacturing performance and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Assist with process improvements and operational initiatives to enhance profitability
