Job summary

Atrium, Alpharetta-based, seeks a Sr Cost Accounting Manager to lead cost accounting for the most complex business unit. This role reports to the Global Director of Inventory Accounting and features a hybrid work format (onsite 3 days/week) with travel to plants as needed.

Responsibilities include owning cost accounting, manufacturing overhead, and inventory while supporting ERP-related initiatives. Relocation is available for eligible out-of-state candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
• Some experience managing people.
• Experience automating and building processes and workflows in a SOX environment.
• Experience with a large multi-billion-dollar company.
• Oracle, JDE, and SAP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Own cost accounting, manufacturing overhead, labor cost, and inventory for the largest and most complex piece of business.
• Assist in the ERP implementation related to inventory and cost accounting.
• Have a deep understanding of cost accounting related to manufacturing.
• Manage a small team with monthly deliverables.
• Coordinate with Operational Finance.
• Communicate effectively between plants, corporate accounting, and FP&A.
