D&J Precision Machine, a Burnout Brands Company, is seeking a Cost Accountant to support cost and inventory accounting and financial analysis at our Cambridge, OH facility. You will partner with on-site management and the broader finance team to understand product costs, margins, and operational performance.

The role emphasizes accurate costing, variance analysis, and continuous improvement of costing processes.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• 3+ years in cost or inventory accounting, manufacturing ideal.
• Experience with standard costing, inventory valuation, COGS.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• ERP experience; Infor SyteLine is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze large data sets.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and analyze product and inventory costs (materials, labor, overhead).
• Review standard costs and costing data within the ERP system.
• Analyze variances and communicate findings to management.
• Support inventory accounting, reconciliations, and WIP.
• Assist with BOMs, routings, and labor standards.
• Prepare cost and margin reports and support month-end close.
• Collaborate with finance and operations to improve costing processes.
