D&J Precision Machine, a Burnout Brands company, seeks a dedicated Cost Accountant to support costing, inventory accounting, and financial analysis. This on-site role collaborates with production, operations, and finance to drive cost visibility and improve processes at the Cambridge, OH facility.

The ideal candidate has experience with standard costing, variance analysis, and ERP systems and will partner across departments to optimize margins and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in cost and inventory accounting in manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and cost components.
• Experience with ERP and financial-reporting systems; Infor SyteLine knowledge is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large datasets.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and analyze product and inventory costs, including materials, direct labor, and overhead.
• Review standard costs, cost components, and ERP data.
• Analyze variances and communicate findings to management and operations.
• Support inventory accounting including reconciliations, WIP, and valuations.
• Prepare cost and inventory reports and assist with month-end close and budgeting.
