Job summary

Augmentis is assisting a leading aero-engine and industrial gas turbine components manufacturer in finding a Cost Accountant. The role partners with operations to improve gross margin, manage inventory costing, and support financial forecasting and budgeting.

Requirements include a BA in Accounting/Finance and 2+ years in cost accounting within manufacturing, with strong MS Office and ERP experience, including Infor systems.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Accounting or Finance.
• +2 years of Cost Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Expert skills in financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, planning, and forecasting.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects with targeted timelines and costs.
• Knowledge of Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint; Infor Visual Manufacturing and Infor Global Financials is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, Outside Processing, and Inventory Control to improve operational excellence.
• Manage cost accounting transactions ensuring US GAAP compliance.
• Ensure inventory valuation accuracy through costing, analysis, and cycle counts.
• Provide analytical support to achieve cost reduction goals.
• Assist in daily and monthly P&Ls preparation.
• Review and update standard costs for each work cell.
