Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is looking for a Cost Accountant in Plano, Texas to support the accounting for multiple manufacturing plants. This role involves overseeing fiscal close processes, ensuring accurate inventory valuation, and conducting variance analyses.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 3 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Compensation is competitive, ranging from $95K to $110K plus a 10% bonus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, including cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting month-end close and financial reporting processes.
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting, standard costing, and manufacturing variances.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze standard costs for inventories.
• Review and reconcile inventory balances for compliance.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for three production facilities.
