Job summary

SolomonEdwards is seeking a highly experienced Corporate Controller to join its senior finance leadership team. This hands-on role oversees the full corporate accounting function, partnering with the CFO and executives to deliver accurate financial information.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in accounting, manufacturing or multi-location experience, and strong GAAP knowledge. CPA strongly preferred with ERP expertise (NetSuite/SAP) and a proven leadership track record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• 4+ years in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role.
• Manufacturing experience required.
• Experience supporting a multi-location or complex operating environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day corporate accounting function and establish priorities for the accounting team.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, payroll accounting, and financial reporting.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Ensure financial statements and management reports are accurate and delivered on schedule.
• Coordinate the annual audit and manage relationships with external auditors.
• Lead ERP optimization and financial systems initiatives.
